Our Lady's X Factor Singing Competition
Our Lady's held a singing competition and raised over £500 in aid of Sickle Cell Charity
On Friday 2nd November, Our Lady's hosted a singing competition for Black History Month. All the songs were originally written and performed by inspirational black artists and the chosen charity we decided to raise money for was Sickle Cell Charity.
The evening was hosted by our very own amazing Linda Simba from sixth form.

Solis Furtado in Year 8 sang The Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston.
Rhema Mabengi in Year 7 sang Read All About It Part III by Emeli Sande.
Elizabeth Abakpa in Year 8 sang Butterflies by Queen Naija.
Caroline Acquaye in Year 10 sang Fresh Prince of Bel Air by Will Smith.
Feza Kanyimbo in Year 7 sang Stand By Me by Ben E King.
Louise Daly in Year 8 sang Diamonds by Rihanna.
Christina and Vanessa Kulak sang If I Were A Boy by Beyonce.
Trisha Smith and Monique Reece Gordon wrote their own song.
Ijeoma Nzeama sang Glory by John Legend.
Meline Magic sang a mix of songs.
