Our School

Remembrance Service

In the month of November we remember all who are no longer with us in a service in the school Chapel

We have recently come out of the month of November, the month that is also dedicated to the Souls in Purgatory. On 29th November a service was held in the Chapel, during lunchtime, for people to come not just to remember those that died in wars, but those that are connected to our school such as past teachers, head teachers and relatives of those in our school. Members of our school community had written down names they’d like us to remember and Sr. Dominic, together with Sixth Formers, read out these names and prayers from those within our community. All of those who came in and out throughout the lunchtime were able to join in with the communal prayers and hymns thanks to Mr Khwaja for playing the piano. Sister Dominic creates a very welcoming, peaceful atmosphere which makes a

“serene space for us to gather our thoughts".

We were both honoured to have the opportunity to help and be a part of this special service.
