Royal Geographical Society Visit

32 students visited the Royal Geographical Society to take part in a workshop on 'Going Places with Geography'.

Maya Trajdos Year 8

I really enjoyed the trip and thought it was a fun and interesting opportunity to learn and participate in the workshop. The activities were organised and well prepared even though there was a small technical difficulty, which was handled very well. The data and information given was very well explained and justified. I learnt a lot of new topics included in Geography and I retouched on older topics. We were paired in groups and there was a lot of teamwork incorporated in the activities. The geography ambassadors explained how Geography works at GCSE and at A Level and the many successful jobs you could do as a geographer.

In conclusion, I am really happy that I was picked and hopefully there will be more trips like this in the future.
