Year 12 University Fair

On Thursday 3rd March the whole of Year 12 attended UK University Search, a UK University and Apprenticeship Fair held at Tottenham Spurs Stadium.

The trip was organised by David Bailey, Business Studies teacher and Head of Sixth Form. The fair provided Year 12 students with the chance to gain guidance and information on a wide variety of university and apprenticeship opportunities around the country, so that they can make informed decisions about their future.

The informative and lively event allowed the students to speak to Russell Group, Red Brick, Specialist and Modern Universities, as well as apprenticeship providers and specialist institutions, to discuss course requirements, travel and accommodation details, interview tips and student facilities. Furthermore, students could choose to attend seminars on topics such as careers and employability, UCAS personal statement and application advice, and life at University.

“I found the University Fair to be useful and informative about what my next step could possibly be. I learned about courses and even got more insight about different universities and what they have to offer when I am about to move on.” Delicia, Year 12 Student
