Duke of Edinburgh Award

Year 8 and Year 9 girls completed their 12 hours skills challenge culminating in the preparation, cooking and presentation of a three course meal to 20 guests , the menu consisted of:
Green salad cheese straws and dips
Brie parcels, Buffalo Ranch Chickpea Burger,
Moroccan couscous spring rolls
Homemade ice cream, cake pops, petit fors, strawberry cake, blondies, brownies, coffee whipped drinks
The students also made their own aprons, invites, place mats and created the menu to offer an appetizing and well balanced non meat/fish/nuts meal.
Their creativity, communication, team work, timing and presentation throughout has been impressive and Mrs Francis and I are very happy to award them this part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award.
