Queen Mary University Visit
Students visit the university as well as the V&A
Report by Ms Cooke
On a day trip to Queen Mary’s University, students learnt about what going to university involves. They spent the morning at Queen Mary’s University, designing university courses and had a tour of the campus. During the afternoon, they went to the ‘Future Starts Here’ exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Students particularly enjoyed exhibits such as an electronic hand for a refugee child, a meal in a bottle and a mirror that could read emotions by looking at a person’s face. Their favourite exhibit was a virtual reality expedition searching for coral reef.
