GCSE Superstars!

GCSE 2016 - the results are in!

We are dedicated to providing a broad and enriching curriculum for our students and, with 41% achieving Ebacc (well above national for 2015) and 75% achieving 5A*-C at GCSE, we are continuing to successfully deliver this for our students.

I am so delighted by the amazing results all our Year 11 students have achieved - very many congratulations to you all!  There are some truly inspiring individuals who have worked incredibly hard to gain these GCSEs and are now already enrolled in the Sixth Form and preparing themselves for the next part of their learning journey.

  • Mandy Tan gained 10 x A* - yes, that is an A* grade for all her GCSEs.

  • Bincan Sun, joined us in Year 7 without any English.  She gained 9 x A*-C GCSEs  including 1A*, 2As and 3Bs. That is an amazing achievement and a huge amount of progress in five years.

  • Jennifer Minga, came to us with lower than expected KS2 results but went on to achieve  10 x A*-B GCSEs: 5A*s, 2As and 3Bs.  That is a fabulous achievement and shows what can be achieved regardless of starting points.

All our GCSE Superstars exemplify that with grit, determination and hard-work everyone can achieve!
