Carnegie Medal Winner honours old school

Novelist, Sarah Crossan, champions poetry, performance and libraries.  She writes novels for teens and in June 2016 she won the Carnegie Medal.  As part of the award given by CILIP Carnegie, Sarah asked for the library donation to be given to us!

We are deedly honoured to have been selected by Sarah Crossan to receive this donation.  We intend to use this is honour future writers through a Sarah Crossan award for our own students.

Sarah, a former teacher, novelist and ex-student of Our Lady's Convent High School, won the CILIP Carnegie medal for her verse novel about conjoined twins "One".
